Save the Children congratulates PAHRA for almost 30 years of human rights advocacy in the Philippines, and its continuing support for the promotion of the rights of children. It has brought the human rights agenda not only at the national level but in regional and international venues as well.
PAHRA has also been creating venues and spaces for a whole range of civil society organizations and human rights advocates to form a collective voice on human rights--amplifying the issues of the more marginalized sectors such as children, women, and persons with disabilities, among others--in engaging human rights monitoring mechanism particularly at the UN level.
We wish PAHRA sustained energy and passion to take human rights, including children's rights, to greater heights.
